A NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR, DR. ANGIE TAYLOR

Thank you for your interest in reading Your Next Job: Strategies for Re-Entering the Workforce. I had several goals when I wrote it. I wanted it to be:

  • Comprehensive

  • Readable

  • Affordable

  • Most of all, helpful

My trusted “first readers” tell me that is what I have created and what you will soon be reading.

I often work with the Northern Kentucky Accountability Group (NKYAG), a transformative employment support group offered by the Kenton County Public Library, providing workshops on transferable skills and how to create a core skills chart.  I serve on the Kenton County Public Library Foundation and find the library to be one of the most outstanding resources in our region.  I am impressed with the NKYAG and have great heart for all our job searchers.

In return for the e-book and all its resources, a minimum $10 donation in support of the Kenton County Public Library and the NKYAG program is requested. Follow the steps below to make a donation and download the e-book.

Thank you so much for your support. My hope is this e-book supports you fully in your goal is to find employment that is meaningful to you and allows you to support your lifestyle.

Best to you,
Angie Taylor, Ed.D.

*About the NKYAG: For the last five years, I have worked with the Kenton County Public Library’s Northern Kentucky Accountability Group (NKYAG). This employment support group offers invaluable service to those who are in the midst of their job searches and the weekly meeting led by Natalie Ruppert, the Manager of Workforce Development for the library, often has 75-100 participants. The classes offered by the library are excellent and hundreds of people searching for employment enroll in several of their classes before finding their next employment.  What is noteworthy is that all these services are free to the public. Dave Schroeder, the Library Director, had a wonderful vision when he created a workforce development program as a part of their permanent services through the library and Natalie Ruppert does a wonderful job of creating and implementing those services. Many thanks for your responsiveness to community needs.
